Augustus 2024 start Teacher Training

Een 1-jarig traject voor o.a. Kawa Training Center Alumni, ontworpen om de inzetbaarheid op de arbeidsmarkt te vergroten en het lokale onderwijs te actualiseren.

Not only are we looking at modern day methodologies and learning how to incorporate them, but also how to become a good teacher, outside of the classroom. We look at the different skills of teaching, for example: organisational and didactical skills, learning how to reflect and make/design tests, the 5 roles of a teacher and also how to create active and fun lessons – whilst learning English.

During the course, students are required to hand in lesson plans and assignments to show their progress and how they have adapted their new found knowledge to their lessons, plus a reflection.

At the end of the course, the students are assessed according to their lessons and lesson plan and they present this in front of the examiner.

The goal of this course is that the new teachers are exposed to new and improved methodologies in language teaching and that they become more aware of their own teaching abilities.
